Sweet Country Ribs
Tender baked country-style ribs with a simple and sweet barbeque flavor.
3-4 pounds country style pork ribs
Your favorite seasoning for pork (basically salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, and onion powder)
1 cup barbeque sauce
1 cup apricot sauce or jam
What you'll need:
Either a baking dish (lined with parchment paper for easy cleaning) or shallow pan lined with aluminum foil
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Lightly coat the lined dish/pan with cooking spray.
Season all sides of the ribs and put in the pan. Don't pack them in too tightly so they'll all cook evenly. Cover them and bake 2 hours.
Remove from the oven and drain the liquid. Brush on the apricot jam liberally, then spoon the barbeque sauce over everything. (Be generous with the sauces! If one cup isn't enough, grab some more!)
Return to the oven, uncovered, and bake another 30 minutes or so until the sauces are starting to brown.
